Playlist for the week of November 19, 2018:
- The Morning of Our Lives by Jonathan Richman & the Modern Lovers: popped up in my “discover” playlist one day on Spotify and I fell in love with it; very positive and uplifting song that always puts me in a great mood
- Come Back Baby by Pusha T: Still bumping DAYTONA but especially this track; staple on my pre-game basketball mix
- Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino: I got introduced to Fats Domino when I visited New Orleans this year and this song has stuck with me; another song that never fails to put me in a great mood
- Kung Fu by YBN Cordae: One of the few “upcoming rappers” that I fuck with; I find myself unconsciously rapping this song all throughout the day;
- Wings by Mac Miller: RIP Mac Miller; this track off his latest album, Swimming has separated itself for me; some of the lyrics give me the chills in light of what happened
- One More by Jimmy Cliff: One of my favorite songs to drive to and party to; another uplifting song that stirs something deep within my soul
- Tearz by Wu-Tang Clan: inspired pick because I just saw “mid90s”
