Alright so for this “Sneaker Sunday” I’ve decided to switch it up a bit. Below you’ll find a video of my thoughts on the sneaker and a few clips of it “on foot.” Check it out and let me know if you’d like to see more videos of its ilk. Below the video you’ll also find a small write-up with some close up photos of the shoe for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy…
UNBOXING: AIR JORDAN “WHAT THE” IV:
As stated in the video above, these have gotten a little hate on the internet upon their release. I understand the reasoning but personally, I like these a lot. The Air Jordan IV is a classic model for Jordan Brand and the “What The” style Nike implements is one of their coolest design ideas in my opinion. The sneaker contains elements of (4) different AJIV colorways including the black and white cements, military blues and fire red 4’s. I think the implementation of all 4 colorways was well done and putting them over a white leather base, makes this an easy to sneaker to pair with anything despite it’s obvious loud characteristics.
These sneakers are a statement on foot. The loud and the mismatched color scheme highlights a style that is impossible to replicate. Buying these sneakers was sort of a leap of faith on my part as I wasn’t sure if I would like them as much in person. Once I opened the box though, all my misgivings evaporated. I would recommend these sneakers to anyone. The AJIV is a classic Jordan model that only looks better as these sneakers get older. This is some classic 90’s kid shit.
